We are seeking a Senior DNS Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our enterprise DNS infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will ensure seamless DNS operations, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the reliability of our critical network services. Key Responsibilities

As our Senior DNS Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

• Enterprise DNS Management: Administer and maintain DNS services across complex Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance for enterprise-grade deployments.
• DNS Configuration & Optimization: Configure and manage primary/secondary DNS servers, forwarders, conditional forwarders, and stub zones to enhance routing efficiency and reduce latency.
• Active Directory Integration: Oversee DNS replication and seamless integration with Active Directory services, ensuring synchronization and fault tolerance across distributed environments.
• DNS Record Administration: Maintain and update critical DNS records, including A/AAAA, CNAME, MX, PTR, and TXT records, while adhering to organizational standards and best practices.
• Proactive Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Diagnose and resolve DNS resolution, connectivity, propagation, and performance issues using advanced tools such as nslookup, dig, and PowerShell. Implement proactive monitoring to preemptively identify and mitigate potential disruptions.
• Incident & Change Management: Support DNS-related migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure projects while following rigorous change-management procedures to minimize downtime and risk.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with network, systems, security, and application teams to resolve DNS-related incidents, ensuring alignment with broader IT objectives.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive DNS documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures to ensure transparency, auditability, and compliance with security policies.
• Security & Best Practices: Implement and enforce DNS security measures, including DNSSEC, access controls, and secure configuration protocols, to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
